Kitesurfing is a seasonal activity. The schools in Sri Lanka open yearly from May 15th to October 15th and from December 15th to March 15th. Lessons are available subject to weather conditions. Some schools are also opened off season

  • You must be able to swim.

  • Kite Lessons and Courses: kitesurfing equipment and safety aids are included in the price normally.

  • Set shoes , sunscreen and other items are available for purchase in some schools. It is recommended to wear a high SPF sunscreen at all times.

  • We have the best equipment adapted to your level and weight. We mainly use good brand.



Certified schools offer you a blissful experience in a safe environment. They offer trainning in Kalpitiya Lagoon ,  where there is enough space for learning and riding. In the lessons, certified schools in Kalpitiya offer priviledge an individual approach with a maximum of 2 students per instructor. They also have a rescue boat on standby.
